Qualifications

• 4–6 years accounting experience; software revenue space preferred
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition
• Experience with capitalized commissions and ASC 340-40

Responsibilities

• Review contracts for ASC 606 compliance and atypical revenue provisions
• Prepare month-end close schedules and reports for revenue recognition
• Manage capitalized commissions per ASC 340-30; identify incremental costs and amortization
• Perform reconciliations for deferred revenue and capitalized commissions
• Lead process improvements to optimize revenue accounting and reporting
• Support external audits with organized documentation and reconciliations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and systems
• Utilize advanced Excel to analyze large datasets and automate reporting
