Job summary

Kaseya is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant – Revenue Accounting to manage ASC 606 revenue recognition, contract analysis, and the monthly close for revenue-related activities in our Finance organization.

You will leverage advanced Excel, ERP systems, and AI-driven tools to improve reporting, support SOX, and partner with Sales, Legal, and Revenue Operations to ensure accurate, timely financial statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• CPA certification or progress toward licensure is a plus.
• 3–5 years of accounting or revenue accounting experience.
• GAAP and ASC 606 knowledge; experience with non-standard terms.
• Experience managing monthly close cycles.
• Strong Excel and data analysis with large datasets.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts for ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Own monthly/ quarterly close processes for revenue.
• Prepare and post journal entries and reconciliations.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations for revenue accounts.
• Conduct revenue analytics and variance analyses.
• Evaluate complex contracts for revenue treatment.
• Support SOX controls and audit readiness.
• Leverage AI/automation to improve processes.
• Own assigned close deliverables and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Legal and Revenue Ops.
• Support audits with schedules and documentation.
• Identify risks and opportunities to strengthen controls.
• Drive continuous improvement in revenue accounting operations.
