Ready to be a Titan?

ServiceTitan is looking for a highly motivated Senior Revenue Accountant to play a key role within our Revenue Accounting Team. This role will be integral to ensuring the accurate accounting and reporting of revenue in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and will report to the Senior Manager - Technical Revenue Accounting and will be instrumental in supporting the growing revenue function while playing a strategic role in the Finance function and Revenue Operations of the company.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with the Senior Manager - Technical Revenue Accounting to ensure that revenue for all segments is accurately recognized in accordance with US GAAP and the Company's revenue recognition policies.

  • Ability to read complex contracts/agreements and identify pertinent terms and issues to determine appropriate accounting treatment, validate proper recognition in revenue systems, and propose solutions within the Company's existing revenue recognition policy and accounting literature.

  • Prepare detailed technical accounting memos to support financial reporting and compliance. Owning Revenue Policy updates.

  • Prepare and update SSP analyses for company product offerings.

  • Support Salesforce Billing and Workday financial system integration and enhancement projects.

  • Partnering with the FP&A team on the revenue forecasting process to provide insights on revenue treatment and revenue policy. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the disclosure process. Scale and refine processes to improve efficiencies and incorporate best practices, utilizing data to maximize process automation.

  • Work with the external auditors to provide the required support for the quarterly reviews and annual audit.

  • Facilitate ad-hoc analysis and projects, as required.

What you’ll bring:

  • 4+ years' experience in accounting at a public accounting firm or a public software company with a focus on revenue recognition.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.

  • Experience in both public accounting and an industry/publicly traded SaaS company is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Strong understanding of Accounting & Revenue principles and operational business processes.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.

  • Must possess strong communication skills.

  • Experience with Salesforce and Workday Financials preferred.

  • Certified Public Accountant license (CPA) preferred.

The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $85,700 USD - $114,600 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
