AlertMedia is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join the Finance & Accounting team. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this individual contributor role serves as the technical accounting expert for revenue recognition and the primary accounting partner to Sales, Deal Desk, RevOps, Legal, Billing Operations, and Finance.
You will own the monthly revenue close process, ASC 606 technical accounting, NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), deferred revenue accounting, SSP methodology, and revenue-related financial reporting. You will partner closely with Deal Desk and Sales before contracts are finalized, helping structure customer agreements that achieve both commercial objectives and clean, scalable accounting outcomes.
This role complements our Billing Operations team by owning the accounting behind the revenue cycle while Billing Operations owns execution, customer billing, and collections.
Success in this role will be measured by accurate and timely revenue reporting, audit readiness, scalable revenue accounting processes, and the ability to proactively partner with the business to solve complex commercial and accounting challenges.
Position is fully remote and open to candidates in Austin, Texas or other cities in the United States.
