Job summary

Vanguard seeks an Engagement & Solutions Coach, Sr. Specialist to guide frontline advisors across hybrid environments in Scottsdale, with travel to other sites. You will mentor, coach and develop capabilities in retirement plans, financial well-being solutions, and participant-facing conversations.

The role emphasizes data-driven coaching, cross-functional collaboration, and readiness for product launches. Requires five years related experience, coaching background, and securities licenses;

Qualifications

• Five years’ related experience.
• Three years of coaching, sales, or frontline enablement experience preferred.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
• This job requires series 7, 63, 65/66 regulatory licenses and/or registration (e.g. FINRA, state, SFC).

Responsibilities

• Coaches frontline advisors, consultants and service reps to deepen their knowledge of retirement plans and financial well‑being solutions.
• Develops and delivers coaching focused on the appropriate positioning of key products and solutions, including advice, Cash Plus, brokerage, IRAs, and ETFs.
• Reinforces a consultative engagement model to identify participant needs and opportunities and position solutions.
• Provides targeted coaching through observation, feedback, and reinforcement, using data insights to improve consultative behaviors and sales effectiveness.
• Partners with leaders to anticipate capability gaps and align coaching to business priorities, product launches, and change moments across the frontline organization.
• Advances scalable coaching practices, tools, and routines that help frontline crew build expertise in retirement solutions and participant engagement.
• Role will require travel, with the possibility of direct participant and plan sponsor engagement.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
