Apex Fintech Solutions seeks a Senior Operations Analyst to support our Retirement team, overseeing the full lifecycle of retirement account operations for introducing broker-dealers. You will manage contributions, distributions, tax reporting, IRS filing, and regulatory compliance across traditional, Roth, SEP, and SIMPLE plans, ensuring accuracy and adherence to IRS, ERISA, and FINRA/SEC requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field.
• 5+ years in retirement account operations, brokerage operations, or financial services operations.
• Strong knowledge of IRS rules, ERISA, FINRA/SEC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Process IRA contributions, distributions, and Roth conversions across plans.
• Prepare and file year-end tax forms (e.g., 1099-R, 5498) and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage beneficiary updates, excess contributions, and compliance with IRC/ERISA.
• Assist customers with questions on limits, distributions, and beneficiary rules.
• Stay updated on IRS regs, ERISA, and FINRA/SEC guidelines; drive process improvements.
