Job summary

Ardent Health in Brentwood, Tennessee is seeking a Senior Retirement Benefits Administrator to oversee ERISA-qualified and nonqualified retirement programs, including the 401(k) plan andDeferred Compensation; ensure governance and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with legal, auditors, recordkeepers and senior leadership to optimize plan design, reporting, and participant education while managing vendor relationships and plan amendments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7 years of progressive retirement plan administration experience (qualified and non-qualified).
• Experience interpreting ERISA, IRS, DOL and 409A regulations.
• Experience with audits, Form 5500, compliance testing, fiduciary governance.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with reporting skills.
• Experience managing relationships with recordkeepers, trustees, consultants and counsel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the retirement plan expert for qualified and nonqualified plans.
• Ensure ongoing ERISA, IRS, DOL and 409A regulatory compliance.
• Oversee fiduciary governance and plan documentation with advisors.
• Partner with legal, auditors, actuaries, recordkeepers and consultants.
• Monitor plan performance metrics and participant engagement trends.
• Lead plan projects including amendments, vendor transitions, system changes.
• Consult with senior leadership on strategy and design considerations.
• Analyze plan data to identify risks and process improvements.
• Develop participant communications to improve retirement readiness.
• Oversee correction procedures under regulatory programs.
