Job summary

The Retail Planning & Analytics Senior Manager at CVS Health leads budgeting, forecasting, and vendor funding for over $500M in annual trade funds. You will partner with Merchandising leadership to optimize profitability and category performance while coaching two analysts and driving process improvements.

You will also translate large data sets into actionable insights, develop analytical models, and present executive-level findings to influence key business decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in analytics, retail, finance, or related fields.
• Experience leveraging large data sets to identify actionable insights.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into recommendations.
• Ability to develop analytical models using Excel/Access/SQL.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for executive audiences.
• Experience coaching analysts and leading cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, reconciliation, and billing for vendor funding.
• Serve as subject matter expert on vendor funding, profitability analysis, and P&L management.
• Partner with Merchandising leadership to identify profit risks and opportunities.
• Lead funding opportunity identification through analysis and business partnership.
• Develop and present financial analyses to support category decisions.
• Coach a team of two analysts and foster a high-performing environment.
• Drive process improvements and system enhancements for funding management.
• Lead special projects and ad hoc analyses related to vendor funding.
