Job summary

Rycon Construction in Ft. Lauderdale seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple retail and grocery construction projects from concept through completion. You will manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client communications to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires 5+ years of PM experience in commercial construction, fluency with contracts, and strong Microsoft Project skills. Bachelor's degree preferred; ESOP and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience on commercial construction projects.
• Retail and grocery construction experience preferred (ground-up, expansion, renovation, occupied spaces).
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to lead complex projects from conception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, project controls, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and MS Office; ability to read drawings and estimates.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple retail and grocery construction projects to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Review contracts, project documents, and construction plans for compliance and execution.
• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Prepare, negotiate, and award subcontract agreements.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings and communicate updates to clients and internal teams.
• Review, prepare, and manage change orders; track RFIs and submittals.
• Monitor project budgets and cost reports; support preconstruction estimating.
