Job summary

OLA is seeking an intermediate- to advanced-level architect (Project Manager or Senior Project Manager) to lead exciting new retail projects from schematic design to construction. You will work closely with senior staff and principals, receiving mentorship while growing in a fast-paced environment.

This in-office role prefers candidates located in New York City or nearby, with potential for occasional remote work during emergencies. Strong AutoCAD production and project management are essential.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in an architecture or design firm is required.
• Must have strong construction document production experience in AutoCAD (Revit also a plus).
• 3+ years of proven architectural project management experience.
• Experience leading small teams of junior architects/drafters.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Enscape, 3D Studio Max, Rhino, SketchUp and Vray proficiency a plus.
• Ability to confidently manage the major phases of architectural projects with relative independence and minimal supervisor input.
• Must have strong, clear communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle fast-paced projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Involved in project development from schematic design to construction.
• Work closely with senior staff and principals on each new project.
• Receive mentorship from veteran architects to grow your craft.
• Produce construction documents and support project delivery.

Education

BArch, MArch or equivalent Interior Design degree
