Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking an Analytics Engineer for Retail Store Analytics to build scalable dashboards and AI-driven data tools that empower store teams.

You will partner with Product Management, Data Science, Engineering, and Operations to deliver a centralized hub of canonical dashboards and conversational data tools that inform decision making. You will deliver analytics pipelines, manage a semantic layer, and advance data products used by hundreds of users across Apple Retail Operations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience building analytics pipelines in a production development environment for modeling, analysis, and reporting.
• 6+ years experience coding in SQL or PySpark and Python.
• 6+ years experience building and maintaining dashboards in Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker with hundreds of users.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with retail data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and extend dashboarding and conversational BI tech-stack that enables data-based decision-making for non-technical users across the retail stores organization.
• Deliver high-impact dashboards & supporting semantic layer which create multi-year improvements to customer experience programs, site selection, staffing & scheduling, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with product management, data science, data engineering, and data infrastructure teams to deliver tools which integrate seamlessly into user workflows.
