The Multi-Modality Respiratory Care Practitioner positions applies fundamental techniques of respiratory therapy to patients in a variety of health care settings. Able to perform basic respiratory care procedures on newborns, pediatrics, and adults. Respiratory Care Practitioner CRT assists in the diagnosis and treatment of patients who have pulmonary disorders such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), collapsed lungs, and pneumonia. May collect blood samples, conduct tests, measure lung capacities and determine the levels of gases, such as oxygen and carbon dioxide within patients' lungs. Respiratory Care Practitioner RRT treats patients with pulmonary disorders such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), collapsed lungs, and pneumonia. The RRT meets with patients, diagnoses ailments, designs treatment plans, and conducts tests to assess lung capacity and gas levels. Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner treats patients with pulmonary disorders such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), collapsed lungs, and pneumonia. The Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner meets with patients, diagnoses ailments, designs treatment plans, and conducts tests to assess lung capacity and gas levels. The Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner will have at least one specialty credential such as Adult Critical Care Specialty (ACCS), Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT), or Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty (NPS).
