Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of recent NICU experience; functions independently in NICU/PICU/ICU.
• Graduate of RCAB or CoARC approved school.
• California Respiratory Care Practitioner license; BLS/NRP/PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and competency in neonatal, pediatric and adult respiratory care.
• Participates in patient care rounds as an active critical care team member.
• Evaluates and documents data from respiratory monitoring devices.
• Performs respiratory diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as per policies.
• Maintains infection control practices and safety procedures.
