Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions is seeking a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide basic and critical respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients in accordance with physician orders and department policies.

The role requires independent work and the ability to supervise others when delegated; you will perform pulmonary function tests, manage equipment rounds, complete documentation, and contribute to patient care teams with knowledge of respiratory therapy methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; preferred
• Master's degree preferred
• Three years' technical experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assesses and documents the appropriateness of prescribed therapy for patients receiving respiratory care services.
• Performs pulmonary function tests and provides patient care related to cardio-respiratory disease.
• Makes rounds to check all respiratory therapy equipment in use or on standby in patient areas.
• Assists with maintenance and processing of equipment and products used in respiratory therapy services.
• Serves as a knowledge resource to physicians and hospital staff on respiratory care methods and safety.
