Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions is seeking a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner (SEIU) to perform basic and critical respiratory care services for adult and geriatric patients. The role requires supervision where delegated, documentation, and adherence to department policies. The position is represented by SEIU.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program with an active RCP license and prefer NBRC credentials (RRT/CRT).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program required.
• RCP license required.
• NBRC credentials preferred (RRT/CRT).

Responsibilities

• Assesses and documents the appropriateness of prescribed therapy for patients receiving respiratory care services.
• Performs drainage procedures, and provides additional patient care regarding cardio respiratory disease.
• Makes rounds to check all respiratory therapy equipment in use or on standby in patient areas.
• Assists with maintenance and processing of equipment and products used in providing respiratory therapy services.
• Serves as a knowledge resource to the physician and hospital staff regarding respiratory care techniques and safety.
