Qualifications

The Senior Respiratory Therapist should demonstrate a solid understanding of respiratory therapy principles, perform duties independently, and collaborate with physicians and nurses in patient care planning. Completion of departmental and unit-specific orientation is mandatory.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent
• Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner License
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS within 90 days, NRP within 90 days
• AARC preceptor certification within 6 months
• 3 years of acute care respiratory therapy experience
• 1 year in Birth Center/Labor and Delivery

• Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
