Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA is seeking a Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner on a per diem basis. The role involves providing neonatal respiratory therapy in accordance with physician orders, with 12-hour, variable shifts.

Qualified candidates will hold a California Respiratory Care Practitioner License and current BLS, with ACLS, PALS, and NRP to be obtained within 90 days of hire. Neonatal intubation experience and proven NICU RT background are required.

Qualifications

• Requires California Respiratory Care Practitioner license at hire.
• National Provider BLS certification on hire; ACLS, PALS, NRP within 90 days.
• Neonatal intubation experience required.
• Minimum 1 year neonatal respiratory therapy experience; 2 years RT experience.
• Per diem, 12-hour shifts in Burbank, CA.

Responsibilities

Required qualifications:

• Sufficient for license/certification/registration.
• Upon hire: California Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 90 days of hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 90 days of hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association.
• Within 90 days of hire: National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics.
• Experienced in neonatal intubation.
• 1 year Clinical experience in Neonatal Respiratory Therapy.
• 2 years Clinical experience as Respiratory Therapist.
