Job summary
Milford Mining Company is seeking a Resource Geologist to develop and optimize geological models for resource and reserve evaluations. The role involves conducting resource modelling, grade control support, and technical analysis utilizing advanced geological software. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of geological experience, preferably in resource modelling. The position requires occasional travel and regular visits to the mine site.
Qualifications
5-10 years of experience as a geologist.
3+ years of experience in resource modelling, especially with complex sulfide and oxide ore bodies.
Experience with Ordinary Kriging and estimation quality optimization.
Responsibilities
Conduct resource modelling and estimation for projects.
Assist mine operations with grade control block model creation.
Prepare and complete all reporting requirements.
