Our team is looking for a Senior Resource Coordinator to support our Tax group. The Senior Resource Coordinator will have the opportunity to work remotely from within the United States.

The Senior Resource Coordinator will effectively manage resource engagement requests, oversee resource utilization, ensure alignment with strategic plans, analyze operational results, and promote staff development within the service line. This role involves providing information for short-term and strategic planning, implementing strategies to increase capability specialization, and acting as the primary contact for department managers to mediate conflicts and resolve resource needs. Continuous communication with management regarding future needs, availability, staffing issues, and deployment strategies is essential.

As a Senior Resource Coordinator, you will :

  • Manage a population of at least [number] people with minimal oversight.
  • Collaborate with engagement teams to understand their needs and ensure compliance with financial, capacity, client, staff development, and experience diversity priorities. Serve as a trusted advisor for service leads.
  • Generate and analyze scheduling, utilization, and forecasting reports to assist leadership in staffing decisions, identify workload trends, and improve utilization. Monitor productivity, conflicts, leverage, and non-charge hours.
  • Provide input on talent development, participate in talent meetings, and offer feedback on team interactions, goals, and future opportunities.
  • Monitor staff schedules to support financial goals, adjust resources based on experience, industry, account priorities, and geography, and fill open needs.
  • Implement firmwide programs such as rotations and onboarding processes for new hires.
  • Proof and verify work for accuracy and completeness, ensuring current and correct scheduling and reporting information.
  • Coordinate with Learning & Development to facilitate local training offerings, share feedback, and assist in trainer identification.
  • Stay updated on market trends and scheduling technology to enhance engagement and resource management practices.

What you will bring to the role :

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree – Preferred
  • Experience in scheduling, service line, or public accounting; Big 4 experience preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data merging.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Adaptability and proactive change management abilities.
  • Sense of urgency and collaborative facilitation skills.
  • Process-driven mindset with the ability to train and develop processes across offices.
