Job summary

Arctic Fox Cooling is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential systems in Jupiter, FL and surrounding South Florida areas. This field-based role emphasizes accuracy, integrity, and customer-first service, with a take-home vehicle and opportunities for growth.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of HVAC service experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to clearly explain repair options to homeowners.

Qualifications

• At least four years of HVAC service and repair experience; installation-only experience will not satisfy this requirement.
• Strong residential diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Working knowledge of multiple HVAC brands and system types.
• Ability to communicate technical findings, repair options, and safety information clearly to customers.
• Professional appearance, strong customer-service skills, and sound judgment.
• Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
• Employment is contingent on completion of applicable job-related background and drug screening requirements.
• Dependable, organized, and capable of managing service calls independently.
• EPA certification and relevant trade credentials are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential air-conditioning and heating systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and refrigeration-related problems.
• Present accurate findings and appropriate repair or replacement options.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards.
• Perform system inspections, maintenance, and performance testing.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners before, during, and after service.
• Maintain detailed service records within the company's management system.
• Keep the assigned take-home vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable codes.
• Identify and explain legitimate repair, replacement, or additional service needs discovered during service calls.
