Arctic Fox Cooling is seeking a mechanically inclined HVAC Maintenance Technician to perform residential maintenance and tune-ups. Prior HVAC experience is not required, but basic tools and a willingness to learn are essential.

You will train and grow into more advanced service responsibilities while supporting a field-based role across South Florida. The position offers a full-time W-2 role with a take-home vehicle, retirement plan, paid time off, and ongoing training as you develop skills

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with a basic understanding of hand and power tools.
• Some HVAC, maintenance, construction, automotive, or mechanical experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, awareness, intelligence, and information-retention skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential HVAC maintenance and tune-up services.
• Inspect equipment carefully and identify potential performance or safety concerns.
• Clearly explain system conditions and recommended next steps to customers.
• Complete service documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked company vehicle.
• Follow company procedures, safety standards, and quality expectations.
• Identify and document legitimate repair or replacement needs discovered during maintenance visits and communicate them accurately to the customer and service team.
• Continue developing technical knowledge through hands-on training and coaching.

We are looking for a mechanically inclined HVAC Maintenance Technician who wants to build a long-term career in the HVAC industry. Previous HVAC experience is not required, but you must understand basic hand tools, learn quickly, communicate professionally, and take pride in thorough work. Key Responsibilities

• Able to work independently after training while remaining accountable to the team

Pay and Benefits

• Full-time, W-2 Employment
• Annual salary: $45,000 - $70,000 annually, based on prior HVAC/mechanical experience, licensing/certifications, and demonstrated ability to perform maintenance independently.

• One week of vacation after one year and two weeks after two years.

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime/weekend work as needed.
