Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience preferred.
• Ability to independently complete residential installations and support light commercial projects.
• Proficient in installing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps and related HVAC equipment.
• Experience with system startups, testing, calibrations, and resolving installation issues.
• Knowledge of ductwork installation, ventilation and airflow requirements.
• Working knowledge of electrical connections, refrigerant piping and brazing.
• Familiarity with programmable and smart thermostats, zoning systems and equipment configurations.
• Strong organization and problem-solving skills for planning installations and material needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork, with willingness to mentor junior installers.
• EPA Section 608 certification preferred; additional manufacturer certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Independently complete residential HVAC installations and support light commercial projects.
• Perform system startups, testing, and adjustments to ensure proper operation.
• Complete ductwork modifications, refrigerant piping, electrical connections, and related installation work.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and maintain quality workmanship and safety standards.
• Coordinate with team members to keep projects organized, efficient, and on schedule.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site and educate customers on operation and basic maintenance.
• Assist with training and mentoring apprentices and junior installers.
