Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Residential HVAC Installer to join our growing team in Michigan. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience, strong technical knowledge, and a commitment to quality workmanship and customer service.

This role involves independent installation and service of residential heating and cooling systems, collaborating with homeowners and team members, and completing projects safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential heating and cooling systems.
• Experience installing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and/or ductless systems.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with HVAC codes, regulations, and installation standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems.
• Prepare installation sites and verify electrical, plumbing, and equipment connections.
• Perform HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Ensure installations comply with HVAC codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and other team members to complete projects on schedule.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and explain installation or repair needs.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and organized condition.
• Identify system issues and recommend solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
