Job summary

Outsourcing Advantage is a boutique BPO provider seeking a Senior Architectural Draftsperson/Designer to join our remote team and support residential construction projects for US clients. You will deliver high-quality construction documents and ensure compliance with regional building codes.

Responsibilities include drafting in AutoCAD, developing structural layouts, and coordinating with US-based architects, engineers, and PMs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience drafting residential construction documents in AutoCAD.
• Strong AutoCAD drafting skills for residential construction documents.
• Ability to independently develop basic residential structural layouts and load path sizing.
• Experience producing electrical and plumbing riser diagrams for residential projects.
• Knowledge of New York State residential building code.
• Portfolio or work samples of residential drafting/construction document work.
• Experience coordinating day-to-day with US-based architects, engineers, and project managers.
• CEFR C1 English proficiency, with ability to provide a brief voice note in English.

Responsibilities

• Draft and produce residential construction documents in AutoCAD.
• Develop structural layouts and load path sizing for residential buildings.
• Prepare electrical and plumbing riser diagrams.
• Create and maintain drawing annotations and schedules (windows/doors, detectors).
• Develop footing details, window and door schedules.
• Incorporate redlines and revisions; ensure drawing set completeness and consistency.
• Coordinate deliverables with US-based architects, engineers, and PMs.
• Mentor juniors and lead project teams.
