Job summary

King Built Properties seeks a Senior Architectural Designer to join our growing development team in Springfield. This role focuses on creating market-ready home products, developing concepts, and coordinating with licensed professionals where required.

Responsibilities include designing custom homes, production homes, townhomes, and rental products, plus leading photorealistic visualizations for marketing and investor presentations. Remote or hybrid options are available for strong candidates.

Qualifications

• At least five years of professional experience in building design or related field.
• Strong Revit and AutoCAD proficiency.
• Ability to produce high-quality architectural renderings.
• Experience with residential, multifamily, mixed-use, or land-development projects.
• Ability to develop a building from concept through coordinated drawings.
• Strong understanding of floor-plan design, elevations, and materials.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, and civil plans.
• Strong organization and deadline-management practices.
• Portfolio clearly showing completed design, drafting, modeling, and rendering work.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate Revit models.
• Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, roof plans, and building details.
• Produce drawing packages for coordination with outside architects and engineers.
• Prepare and revise AutoCAD drawings when required.
• Coordinate architectural information with structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing information.
• Develop Revit templates, families, details, title blocks, and consistent drawing standards.
• Build and maintain an internal library of residential and multifamily plans.
