Job summary

King Built Properties seeks a Senior Architectural Designer to lead residential development projects, including custom homes, production homes, townhomes, and rental communities. The role emphasizes design innovation, visualization, and marketable product development.

The candidate will create marketable floor plans, elevations, and exterior material schemes while coordinating with licensed professionals as needed and exploring remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in building design, architectural drafting, residential design, BIM production, or related field.
• Strong Revit and AutoCAD proficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to create high-quality architectural renderings.
• Experience with residential, multifamily, or mixed-use projects.
• Ability to develop a building from concept through coordinated drawing package.
• Understanding of floor-plan design, elevations, materials, and residential functionality.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate Revit models and floor plans.
• Prepare elevations, sections, roof plans, and building details.
• Produce drawing packages for coordination with outside architects/engineers.
• Revise AutoCAD drawings as required and incorporate redlines.
• Coordinate architectural information with structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams.
• Develop Revit templates, families, details, and title blocks.
• Build and maintain an internal library of residential and multifamily plans.
• Prepare preliminary subdivision and land-development concepts.
