Job summary

BRAVAS is seeking an experienced Lead Technician/Programmer to own field installs and the programming of networks, control systems, cameras, and NVRs for high-end homes. You will guide on-site teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure a premium client experience from pre-wire through project closeout.

The role demands deep installation expertise, strong networking skills, and fluency with Control4, Lutron, Savant, and Crestron systems. A valid TX driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential installation and service experience.
• Strong programming skills with control systems and networks.
• Ability to read residential plans and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Leads and executes residential pre-wire and trim-out work.
• Programs and configures control systems, networks, cameras, and NVRs.
• Installs and calibrates A/V systems and structured cabling.
• Tests and burns in systems; updates firmware prior to deployment.
• Performs service calls and remote support when needed.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and schematics.
• Coordinates with trades on job sites; mentors junior technicians.
• Maintains project documentation and updates in PM software.
• Participates in on-call service rotation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
