Bowman Consulting is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer to lead inspection teams on buildings, roads, and bridges from Lisle, IL or Lacey, WA. This role requires extensive civil engineering experience and P.E. licensure in IL, with DOT certification and proven project leadership.

You will guide staff, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate with clients and contractors, and chair pre-construction and progress meetings, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability.

Qualifikationen

• Registered Professional Engineer in IL.
• Fifteen or more (15+) years' professional engineering experience.
• Demonstrated success as a Resident Engineer on major transportation projects.
• Applicable DOT certification required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Purpose

Oversee the construction process and staff for various projects, including buildings, roads, and bridges.

Responsibilities

Leadership and Direction

• Receive administrative supervision with assignments given only in terms of broad general objectives and limits. Apply expert-level technical knowledge and experience to assignments. Maintain quality control and quality assurance of work produced by staff.

At The Operational And Company Level

• Assist with the marketing of the firm’s capabilities to establish new clients and enhance relationships.

Salary and eligible variable compensation (if any) commensurate with experience. Range $185,000 - $225,000 and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Physical Demands and Working Environment

• Primarily indoor professional office environment which may include bright/dim light, noise, fumes, odors, and traffic.
