Job summary

EOG Resources in the United States is seeking a reservoir engineering specialist to maximize asset value through reserve and production growth. Responsibilities include evaluating prospects and producing properties, project economics, well and reservoir surveillance, and SEC reserve evaluation.

Candidates should have a BS in Engineering (Petroleum preferred), 9+ years in reservoir engineering, and strong background in decline curve, material balance, EOR, and reservoir modeling.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, preferably Petroleum Engineering.
• 9+ years of reservoir engineering experience in oil & gas.
• Advanced degree may be considered with Petroleum Engineering focus.
• Strong technical background in DCA, material balance, nodal/pressure transient analysis, and reservoir modeling.
• Experience with Aires for Windows and oil & gas economics software.

Responsibilities

• Maximize value of company assets through reserve and production growth.
• Evaluate prospects and producing properties; assess economic viability.
• Conduct pressure/transient analysis, reservoir simulations, and EOR studies.
• Present findings to senior management and support development plans.
