Job summary

Strada Education Foundation is seeking a Senior Researcher to lead quantitative research from framing questions to dissemination. You will manage complex longitudinal datasets, apply advanced methods, and guide junior researchers.

The role focuses on education and workforce outcomes and involves collaboration with internal and external partners. You will present findings, contribute to manuscripts, and represent the Institute at external events.

Qualifications

• A PhD (in hand by start date) in public policy, economics, sociology, demography, higher education, or related field.
• Extensive experience with advanced quantitative research methods, including quasi-experimental designs.
• Experience preparing complex longitudinal datasets for analysis and leading research projects.
• Strong writing, presentations, and ability to translate findings for policymakers.

Responsibilities

• Interpret research objectives and questions for assigned projects.
• Clean, code, organize, merge, and manage complex longitudinal datasets using Stata or R.
• Design and refine methodologies to meet project objectives and answer research questions.
• Collaborate in writing manuscripts, reports, briefs, and summaries.
• Deliver presentations to internal and external audiences; represent Strada at events.
