Versiti, home to the Blood Research Institute, seeks a researcher to develop and refine laboratory techniques and perform complex experiments to advance our research projects.

From collaboration with principal investigators to meticulous record-keeping and data analysis, you will contribute to high-impact publications. A Bachelor's in biology or chemistry is required, with 4–6 years of lab experience; a Master's is preferred. Wisconsin-based role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in biology, chemistry or equivalent scientific discipline.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• 4–6 years of relevant research laboratory experience.
• Ability to interpret and explain theoretical basis of work.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise or coordinate lab activities when needed.

Responsibilities

• Develops, improves, and implements laboratory techniques and conducts complex experiments.
• Troubleshoots assays and customizes tools to answer research questions.
• Coordinates resources and personnel to complete research plans.
• Participates in publication and presentation of research.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and SOPs.
