Job summary

Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a Senior Research Technologist to lead, oversee, and independently set up experiments in support of lab goals and grant commitments. You will contribute to study design, collect and analyze data, and help prepare manuscripts and grant applications.

You will mentor residents and temporary staff, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate across departments to advance Nemours' research program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science required; Master of Science preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of significant laboratory experience required.
• Ability to lead and train junior staff and supervise lab activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, oversee, and independently perform experiments and procedures.
• Plan studies, define procedures, manage resources and priorities.
• Collect, summarize, and analyze experimental data for meetings and publications.
• Train residents, fellows, and temporary staff in lab techniques.
• Perform advanced safety functions and ensure material viability and proper handling.
• Participate in lab meetings and present results.
