Qualifications

• Experience in laboratory, field, and research discipline; demonstrated competencies as a Research Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Lead field-based research sampling and tagging for Atlantic menhaden research.
• Assist laboratory processing of fish hard parts for age determination and stomachs for diet analysis.
• Write and modify reports, contribute to grants and budgets, and supervise lower-level staff.
• Operate and troubleshoot lab and field instrumentation and maintain equipment.
