LMI is seeking a Financial Consultant that supports the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)) in its mission to provide policy and governance for the Department of Defense and the national security innovation base, enabling the delivery and sustainment of critical capabilities to U.S. Service Members and our allies. Provides day to day advanced analytical and strategic financial and business process support services to the Under Secretary (A&S), Chief of Staff, and the Executive Operations team. Ensures a balance of acquisition and sustainment priorities, while creating and maintaining efficient and effective financial and business processes.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with OASDs for equity input for RAHs, information papers with recommended positions, and any backup documents and prepare USD(A&S) and DUSD(A&S) binders for Deputy’s Management Advisory Group (DMAG) prep sessions; disseminate RAHs to appropriate OUSD(A&S) stakeholders; attend USD prep sessions, document and follow-up on any due-outs
  • Develop deliverable timeline for OASDs to ensure USD(A&S) has time to shape content for OUSD(A&S)-owned DMAGs; coordinate with OUSD(A&S) OASDs and USD(A&S) Front Office to schedule prep sessions
  • Serve as DMAG focal point for OUSD(A&S) and provide responses to queries from the DSD’s DMAG Engine Room, other Components and OUSD(A&S) OASDs
  • Serve as the 3-star meeting focal point for CAPE’s Resource Management Group (RMG) for OUSD(A&S); coordinate and confirm RSVPs; disseminate RMG RAHs to appropriate OUSD(A&S) stakeholders; coordinate RMG prep sessions; attend DUSD and/or ASD prep sessions, document and follow-up on any due-outs
  • Perform action officer duties for the Risk Management Internal Control (RMIC) program; develop and deliver training on RMIC deliverables to OUSD(A&S) POCs; consolidate input and prepare CATMS package for DUSD approval and signature; submit approved deliverable(s) including annual Statement of Assurance (SoA) to OUSD(C); follow-up on status of DoD-wide material weaknesses for which OUSD(A&S) is the OPR
  • Coordinate with OUSD(A&S) OASDs to track Presidential Executive Orders and provide periodic updates
  • Serve as USD(A&S) Front Office liaison with the OUSD(A&S) Budget Office; coordinate and consolidate inputs for issue papers and weekly Program Review Team updates with DUSD
  • Coordinate weekly reports as required to include those provided to the DSD front office by tasking offices for inputs
  • Consolidate NDS/DPG tasker inputs and prepare drafts for the USD or DUSD
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the OUSD(A&S) front office staff.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in accounting, finance, or business-related field
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience desired performing the full range of activities related to Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution
  • Experience with Power BI, database management and maintenance
  • TS/SCI required

Preferred

  • Master’s degree preferred, but not required
  • A CDFM is desired, but not required
  • Experience in federal government or federal government consulting

Target salary range: $95,000 - $155,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
