Lindahl Reed is seeking a Senior Research Security Analyst to support the USDA in Washington, DC, delivering research, analytical and writing support to the Office of Research, Economic, and Science Security (ORESS). The role requires an active Top Secret clearance and a strong ability to work under tight deadlines within a team.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Minimum ten years of experience in research security or related fields.
• Master’s degree in life sciences or engineering discipline.
• Ability to advise USDA officials and produce strategic analysis.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior analyst for National Security in alignment with the Farm Security Action plan.
• Advise the Director of ORESS on national security issues, including research and economic security.
• Provide strategic analytical support to USDA officials, interagency partners, and other stakeholders.
• Evaluate new and emerging technologies for potential security risks within USDA portfolios.
