Qualifications

• Minimum fifteen (15) to twenty (20) years’ experience
• Experience evaluating complex research portfolios and identifying opportunities to maximize impact and mitigate security risks
• Experience developing mitigations within agriculture business
• Experience assessing technical merit of emerging capabilities and security implications
• Experience creating a technical vision and direction plan

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior advisor for Technology Transition aligned with USDA priorities
• Advise the USDA Executive Director on transitioning research to USDA and industry
• Provide technical guidance for development and scale-up of capabilities
