Job summary

Radiance Technologies seeks a Senior Research Scientist to advance data processing techniques for EO/IR and SAR ATR sensing. The role focuses on detection, tracking, and automatic target recognition of targets from sensor data.

You will design image and signal processing methods, perform R&D to boost ATR performance, and collaborate to prototype Near Real Time systems while contributing to technical briefings.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, Matlab, or C/C++.
• Experience with EO/IR/RF signature, ATR, and ML methods for remote sensing applications.
• Experience in an R&D and data analysis environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop image and signal processing techniques to solve complex EO/IR and SAR ATR sensing challenges.
• Perform R&D to enhance performance of detection, tracking and ATR algorithms on remotely sensed data.
• Collaborate with teams to develop and deploy capabilities to prototype Near Real Time (NRT) systems.
• Provide input to analysis reports and briefings on algorithm enhancement and tool development.
