Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Senior Research Scientist to lead a small team and develop state-of-the-art algorithms for information science challenges. You will prototype and implement high-performance software spanning tactical systems to web applications, using modeling and simulation tools to quantify benefits.

Applicants should hold a MS or PhD in a relevant field and have strong foundations in applied math, controls, DSP, machine learning, and software

Qualifications

• MS or PhD required in a relevant field such as Applied/Computational Mathematics, EE, CS, Controls & Dynamical Systems, Aerospace, or Statistics.
• Strong background in differential equations, linear algebra, numerical analysis, and optimization.
• Experience in controls, estimation theory, DSP, and machine learning; software design and implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical details clearly to experts and non-experts.
