Job summary

UT Health San Antonio in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a research program coordinator to oversee one or more complex educational/social science research projects. You will assist with recruitment, data collection, literature reviews, and day-to-day operations under supervision.

Responsibilities include planning studies, coordinating protocol development, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and supporting grant proposals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in an educational/social science or related field is required.
Four (4) years of related experience is required.
Clinical Research experience preferred; Medical Assistant experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Plans, organizes, and conducts one or more large and complex research projects according to plan and reviews progress.
Participates in decisions regarding study design, data collection, and methodology.
Develops protocol and criteria; determines interview procedures and approves protocols; may design intervention protocols.
Formulates research methods and suggests options for improving quality, identifies potential problems and implements solutions.
Gathers data; supervises data collection and verification; oversees literature reviews.
Performs data analysis and interprets results.
Co-authors publications; may co-present with Principal Investigator at meetings and conferences; assists in acquiring research funding including writing grant proposals.
May oversee the work of other employees; monitors budget, researches, and purchases equipment.
