Chevron Phillips Chemical Company seeks a Research Technician in Kingwood to contribute to bench‑scale experiments and product/process improvements within our Research & Technology division. You’ll work in a team‑oriented, safety‑driven environment that emphasizes mentorship and continuous learning, with opportunities to grow.

The role targets proactive, detail‑oriented individuals who value collaboration and scientific discovery.

Formación

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Experience operating, calibrating and troubleshooting lab equipment with hazardous chemicals.

Responsabilidades

• Design and execute desired laboratory and bench‑scale experiments
• Design and construct experimental units, equipment, and apparatus
• Operate and maintain lab instruments and equipment. Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment
• Gather data and evaluate processes and products
• Develop safe handling procedures for chemicals and chemical reactions
• Conduct basic mechanical work (e.g. basic tubing, fitting and valve assembly using basic tools)
• Conduct sample analysis using laboratory instruments
• Maintain research records
