Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis seeks a Senior OR Level II Research Laboratory Infrastructure Engineer to join Laboratory IT Services (LITS) and support researchers with reliable, secure, and scalable computing infrastructure.

The role requires multi-OS administration, strong knowledge of networking and information security, and a proven ability to plan capacity, monitor performance, and collaborate with faculty and IT teams to deliver mission-critical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 4 years IT experience in infrastructure operations and engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee configuration and management of IT infrastructure.
• Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of infrastructure service delivery methods.
• Lead and manage internal infrastructure through established regulations and standards.
• Implement and monitor incident/problem & disaster recovery for infrastructure support.
• Manage and provide current systems usage statistics and future growth estimates.
• Collaborate with internal teams on capacity planning and infrastructure availability.
