MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland is seeking a senior researcher/engineer to develop open-source hardware and software for a neural engineering platform. You will lead day-to-day program execution, coordinate with faculty, clinical personnel, and other research teams, and advance innovative solutions with minimal supervision.

The role requires a Master\'s degree or equivalent experience with strong knowledge of electronic hardware, embedded software, and implanted medical devices;

Qualificações

• Master's degree in engineering or related field with knowledge of electronic hardware development and embedded software development.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and presentations to document project status.
• Experience with implanted medical devices and active implanted medical devices is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop open-source hardware and software for a neural engineering platform ecosystem.
• Provide program management, strategic planning, and guidance to junior staff.
• Coordinate collaboration with other research teams, faculty members, clinical personnel.
• Uphold mission and values of MetroHealth System while executing projects.
