Qualifications

• Expert fluency in Python, and strong competence in C++.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience focused on data infrastructure or AI/ML engineering.
• Experience architecting scalable data systems on major public clouds (GCP) with Beam, storage and data formats.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable ingestion systems for petabytes of text and multimodal data.
• Manage lifecycle of large datasets across storage and file systems; optimize formats.
• Implement data governance and privacy solutions with compliance teams.
• Build and maintain distributed data processing pipelines on cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS).
• Develop data curation and semantic deduplication to improve training efficiency.
• Design automated decontamination to keep training data isolated from benchmarks.
• Collaborate with researchers to support data ablations and scaling experiments.
