Job summary

Turing is hiring a Senior Research Engineer to own end-to-end data and RL environment creation for coding agents. You will lead cross- functional teams of engineers, researchers, QAs, and data creators, interfacing with frontier AI labs to align on needs and deliver high-quality datasets and evals at scale.

You will design data architectures, automate validation, and build internal tools to streamline production.

Qualifications

• Post-training experience on SWE tasks or experience building coding agents.
• Engineering Management experience with hands-on capability in Python and one or more major languages (C++, Java, Go, Rust, or JS).
• Operational leadership: manage complex data pipelines and multi-stakeholder delivery.
• Cross-functional communicator with researchers at frontier AI labs and diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership of datasets, RL environments, and evals for coding agents and SWE tasks for one or more AI lab customers.
• Collaborate with frontier researchers, interface with researchers/engineers to understand needs and translate into data offerings.
• Drive research, sales enablement, and industry thought leadership with benchmark development and evals.
• Build tools and infrastructure to accelerate data generation, verification, and client-facing dashboards/APIs.
