Senior Research Engineer – Artificial Intelligence (AI/ML/NLP/GenAI)

Responsibilities

• Drive Innovation: Experiment with and pioneer new techniques in machine learning, natural language processing, information retrieval, and generative AI. What You’ll Bring

• A degree in a technical discipline (such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics).
• Experience developing high-quality software frameworks for research in challenging engineering environments.
• Advanced programming, debugging, and system design skills.
• Strong communication skills for sharing research findings and software designs, both verbally and in writing.
• A passion for innovation, demonstrated by creative problem-solving and the ability to craft novel algorithmic solutions.
• Self-motivation and the ability to excel with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and agile development environments.
• Comfort working in fast-paced settings and managing ambiguity.

Preferred Extras

• Contributions to research publications at major conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL).
• Hands-on experience with state-of-the-art engineering topics such as distributed computing, scalable data pipelines, automated evaluation systems, or GPU/parallel computing (CUDA).
• Background in large-scale machine learning systems and open-source software contributions.
