Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior software engineer to drive Python-based ML initiatives in Minnesota. You will develop scalable data processing pipelines for ML models and collaborate with data scientists to productionize research into robust, scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of software engineering, strong Python expertise, cloud experience, and familiarity with NLP challenges, CI/CD, and agile delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Related Field, or Equivalent Experience.
• At least 5 years software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years working on a Machine Learning related product or solution.
• A deep understanding of Python software development stacks and ecosystems.
• Ability to write clean, reusable, maintainable and well-tested code.
• Experience collaborating with applied data scientists to translate research work in production ready solutions.
• Experience with cloud computing development.
• Experience with Agile Methodologies.
• Experience implementing CI/CD, DevOps, and SDLC concepts in application delivery.
• Exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP) problems.
