UPMC's Center for Women's Biobehavioral Health Research is seeking a Research Associate Sr to support day-to-day conduct of multiple studies, including the SWAN study and related trials. The role involves recruitment, scheduling, and overseeing study procedures in a midlife women's health program.

The candidate will supervise a research specialist, troubleshoot research-related issues, and contribute to data processing, IRB activities, and manuscript preparation within a grant-funded environment

Qualifikationen

• Master's Degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Counseling, Sociology or related research field with 1 year of work experience in a research project or related clinical setting.
• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Counseling, Sociology or related research field with 3 years of work experience in a research project or related clinical setting.
• Familiarity with computers and common software packages required.
• Working knowledge of research methodology strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Participate in day-to-day activities of research studies on women's health including recruitment, screening, enrollment, and scheduling per protocol.
• Administer protocol-adherent execution of study procedures including laboratory testing, ambulatory/wearable monitoring, diaries, behavioral and neurocognitive assessments.
• Process blood and related biological samples (venipuncture, labeling, storage, transport) per protocol and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with investigators, study physician, study coordinator, pharmacists, laboratories, and other stakeholders to support study execution.
• Mentor, train and assist with supervising junior research staff as needed.
• Enter study data into databases.
• Assist with preparation of scientific articles, IRB, and grant submissions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
