Job summary
Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a formulation scientist to support formulation and process development for small molecule drug candidates in the R&D pipeline. You will contribute to compounding screening, characterize drug substances, and assist in tech transfer and scale-up across preclinical to clinical stages.
Required are a BS with 2+ years or MS with 0+ years in a related field, plus hands-on lab experience with instrumentation and GMP.
Qualifications
- BS degree with 2+ years or MS with 0+ years in a related scientific discipline.
- Hands-on laboratory experience with laboratory instrumentation, analytical methods, and GMP.
- Experience supporting drug formulation development and tech transfer.
Responsibilities
- Conduct compounding screening and characterize drug substances.
- Develop clinical formulations and assist in manufacturing tech transfer and scale-up.
- Support process validation and lifecycle management; author technical reports and risk assessments.
