Job summary

Advanced Group in California seeks a Senior Research Associate to support predictive toxicology and translational safety research through in vitro and ex vivo assay platforms. You will generate high-quality data, support study execution, and advance cellular models and workflows.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in cell culture, cell biology techniques, sample management, and laboratory operations, along with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with cell culture, laboratory instrumentation, and sample management.
• Experience with primary cells and advanced cellular models.
• Experience with flow cytometry, ELISA or multiplex immunoassays, immunofluorescence, cell viability/death assays.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and laboratory activities concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and execute in vitro and ex vivo assays supporting toxicology and translational research programs.
• Support the development and use of advanced cellular models, including 2D and 3D cell culture systems.
• Perform cell culture activities using immortalized cell lines, primary cells, PBMCs, iPSCs, and other relevant cellular models.
• Conduct biological sample processing and laboratory assays including flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, ELISA, multiplex immunoassays, cell viability/death assays, and molecular biology techniques.
• Support study design, sample management, study execution, data analysis, and technical reporting.
• Maintain accurate experimental records using electronic lab notebooks and related systems.
