Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant research experience with publications or grants.
• Strong background in optics and ophthalmology.
• IRB and ACUC CITI certification within 30 days.
• Prior lab experience (>5 years) in ophthalmic devices.
• Experience training engineering and medical students.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex opto-mechanical and electronic instrumentation for ocular imaging.
• Design and execute research duties for the Photodynamic Antimicrobial Therapy Project.
• Develop, calibrate and validate novel imaging systems for study of accommodation.
• Strong engineering background in optics and familiarity with MATLAB, SolidWorks, LabVIEW.
• IRB and ACUC CITI certification within first 30 days of employment.
